From Nature to Nursery: The Eco-Friendly Journey of Little Plant Clothing
Welcome back to the Little Plant blog! Today, we invite you to join us on an eco-friendly journey - the transformative path of our clothing from sustainably managed forests to your little one's nursery.
At the heart of our collection are two standout materials - TENCEL™ Modal and TENCEL™ Lyocell. Sourced from responsibly managed forests, these materials originate from renewable wood sources. This sustainable sourcing is a foundational aspect of our commitment to a greener planet.
Following harvest, the raw wood is transformed into the soft, breathable fibers of TENCEL™ Modal and TENCEL™ Lyocell through an environmentally responsible closed-loop process. This process includes recycling of process water and reusing solvents at an impressive recovery rate of more than 99%.
These fibers are then spun into yarns and woven into fabrics - the blank canvas for our delightful and vibrant designs. Our designers draw inspiration from the magic of childhood to create playful patterns and comfortable cuts that both children and parents will love.
Once our garments are designed, cut, and stitched together, they undergo stringent quality checks. We ensure every piece meets our high standards for durability, comfort, and sustainability.
Finally, when our clothes are ready to meet their new homes, they're packaged using eco-friendly materials. Each Little Plant package you receive is a promise - a commitment to quality, comfort, and sustainability.
At Little Plant, we're more than just a children's clothing store. We're an eco-conscious community dedicated to making a positive impact on our planet while providing the best for your little ones. Thank you for being part of this journey. Stay tuned for more exciting insights about our products, values, and the world of sustainable fashion.
